Drowning, drowning and drowning
Into an inky void that leaves no stones unturned.
Groping, groping and groping
For a soothing touch that leaves my mind unburned.
Falling, falling and falling
Through the sky that knows no bounds on the upside.
Sailing, sailing and sailing
Through an ocean of misery that swells a drunken tide.
...
And yet, and yet, and yet,
I do see a tiny speck of light,
Over there yonder, I'm not sure how far,
But it's certainly there, timid and contrite.
Pulsing rather unsteadily like a momentary candle,
As storm gathers around. Let's go and bring it back!
